Fine Gael Westmeath Senator, Nicky McFadden, has urged the Minister for Transport to extend the Bus Éireann Dublin to Galway bus route to stop at Athlone Institute of Technology so that students can avail of the service.

“An application went in on the 1st October requesting that the 7am Dublin to Galway bus passes through and stops at Athlone Institute of Technology. The Minister for Transport said the situation is currently under consideration.
